Follow the Road to Adventure

The Minnesota St. Croix Scenic Byway extends 124 miles through the heart of the St. Croix River valley. It begins at Point Douglas near the confluence of the Mississippi and St. Croix rivers and winds north. Landscapes along the route include deep, narrow gorges, rugged bluffs and expansive river valley views. Extensive recreational opportunities and near-wilderness solitude are interspersed between historic river communities. The St. Croix National Scenic Riverway, six state parks, more than 50 public and privately owned parks and preserves, and close proximity to the Twin Cities, make the St. Croix Scenic Byway a year-round destination.
